Suddenly bright orange flowers have started blossoming along the side of the roads nearby. Some people call them weeds- I prefer to call them wildflowers and happily pick a bunch to brighten our living room. I was told they are day lillies and they do only last a day - but there's plenty more where they came from for now. I'll pick them daily.
